Nolitex is an exhibiting group based in Newark Nottinghamshire, and we have just started a blog http://nolitex2009.wordpress.com. I have put a link to you on the blog and was hoping you might reciprocate. A number of our members use the computer as a design tool, and in fact I lead a group session around just this topic yesterday. DesignIT featured heavily of course. We also have a small exhibition on at the Spotlight Gallery in Newark, it is a taster for the main exhibition in 2010. My piece and one other were designed using the computer. I am also about to put up on the blog an article I have written about using the computer as a design tool as I wrote it for the benefit of the members, but it might be of interest to some members of the CTDG, particularly those just starting out. |

DOT (Designs On Textiles) meets on a Friday from 10am - 3pm once every 3 months approx. We rotate meetings through members homes around the Nottingham area. We are currently playing a game of Consequences between meetings which keeps everyone involved and practicing at their own pace.
